So… you’re interested in staking Avalanche (AVAX) but don’t know where/how to start. Well, this guide will help you start staking in no time.

StakeSeeker is built and managed by BTCS Inc., a U.S. publicly traded company (Nasdaq:BTCS). BTCS has 9 years of experience in the crypto industry and is in compliance with all US regulations, giving you peace of mind knowing that staking with us carries low risk.

We’re excited to provide Non-Custodial staking, meaning you always keep your private keys when delegating and staking with us.

Let’s get started:

1. Setting up your wallet

In order to stake with StakeSeeker, you must have your own crypto wallet. This will allow you to stake your crypto without giving a third party control over your assets.

The Avalanche Wallet is a common wallet used for the Avalanche (AVAX) blockchain

First, you need to go to:

Click Create New Wallet to get a new Avalanche Wallet

Avalanche Wallet will guide you through the steps to setup your key phrase to access/recover your wallet.

2. Funding your wallet

Once you have accessed your Avalanche Wallet, you now need to fund it with Avalanche (AVAX).

You can fund your wallet in a variety of ways such as by transferring AVAX from an exchange or from another wallet.

Ensure your AVAX is on the P-Chain. If it is not on the P-Chain, you need to do a Cross-Chain transfer.

From the left side panel, click Cross Chain.

Enter the amount of AVAX you want to move to the P-Chain to be staked. Click Confirm to complete the transfer.

3. Staking AVAX

Now that you have MINA available in your wallet, you can stake it with StakeSeeker!

First, click on Earn to open the Avalanche Wallet staking dashboard.

You need to have at least 25 AVAX to stake/delegate.

Click Add Delegator underneath “Delegate”.

This will bring up a list of the validators.

We encourage you to stake with StakeSeeker by BTCS as we are a US public and regulated company with over 8 years of experience in cryptocurrency.

Copy and paste this Node ID into the search bar:

Node ID–6aZ3KyGBPTcn6NF9K2jpvxTjhhDjks3Ev

Click Select to bring up the node details page.

You can now enter the amount of Avalanche (AVAX) you would like to stake. (25 AVAX is the minimum amount that can be staked).

Be sure to select the staking duration by adjusting the start and end date/time.

Click Confirm

Congratulations, you are now staking AVAX!
